It is safe to say that the first Kelmarsh show was a big success featuring all the things we loved about Billing but in a different setting. The showground was a great improvement featuring more flat land and a lot of space for the young show to grow into and surrounded by beautiful scenery none more so than Kelmarsh hall itself which overlooks the main arena.
The main arena had all the old favourites like winching demonstrations as well as some new features we hope to see more of, the most exciting being the red devils para unit; parachuting straight into the main arena.
The Polybush tent offered the usual combination of Land Rover restoration and audience interaction. The Manic Mechanics did a great job changing the suspension on a Camel Trophy Series Land Rover whilst still having time to answer all audience questions.
The rain fell hard over Saturday and Sunday making for one of the most authentic Land Rover experiences you can imagine. Mud and Land Rovers is there anything better?
Thank you once again to Live promotions, LRM, The Manic Mechanics and of course all who attended. Bring on next year.
